Quick-release tractor loader: what is it. How and why to use it correctly.
Front-end loaders for tractors (kunas) are in high demand due to their unique combination of efficiency, versatility and functionality. Equipment with replaceable elements can carry out loading, unloading of goods, planning work in the municipal, agricultural and construction sectors. A mounted kun on an MTZ is not a self-propelled device, so it is not only functional but also affordable. The loader is attached to a tractor to turn the latter into a functional machine. Most of the loaders are designed to be mounted on MTZ tractors.
Rules of selection
The Grand Max-MX tractor loader will meet your requirements if you choose the right machine. You need to look at:
Load capacity - immediately decide what kind of work you plan to do. Equipment up to 800 kg is enough for simple tasks. Up to 1200 kg is required for loading grain, fodder, haylage, and 2000 kg is required for logging and sand handling.
Tractor compatibility - make sure that the selected machine can be mounted on a specific tractor. If the machine and attachment are not compatible, you can order a subframe separately from the manufacturer.
Unloading height - the option of loading machines with extension sides and stacking hay bales in several rows is not always available. If you plan to load trucks or grain carriers, rely on forklifts with a height of at least 3600 mm.
If you do not remove the loader from the tractor, you will not need a quick coupler, and a quick coupler will be optimal for performing the corresponding operations. Again, a quick coupler is not necessary for rarely changing the working bodies. But if necessary, it will allow you to replace the working body in half a minute.
It is optimal to order a suspension of a unified euro category. In other cases, the forklift will be ideally compatible with one tool from the manufacturer.
What can be the design
Types of booms for forklifts:
butt-welded by the butt method ;
in the form of a box;
ovoid.
The strength of the boom is an important marker of the durability of removable equipment. The most reliable booms are oval-shaped. They have a profile with a circle shape at the top and U-shaped roundings at the bottom. The ovoid section implies the presence of only one weld, which is subject to minimal loads.
